Plan Of Action

I called the nurse yesterday, like she asked me to. She didn't answer so I left her message, and waited for her to call me back. She finally calls me back and tells me what the Dr would like for me to do next; I am suppose to go in on Tuesday morning for a "baseline". If everything looks good, including blood work then I will start my stims that night. I asked the nurse, "Does this mean that she will start me on stims without having a period? So if my period starts while on stims I just wasted a cycle and our money"? When she replied with YES, that was all it took for her to set me off.

I expressed my concern with this in a tone that definitely allowed the other person involved to know that I was VERY UPSET! I was not "mean" to the nurse. I just wanted to make sure that when she relayed my message to my RE that my tone would be relayed as well :) I apologized to the nurse but, she quickly reassured me that she understood my frustration and was only relaying my RE's "plan of action" for us, to us. Before the conversation was over the nurse told me to call in on Monday to let her know if AF decided to come or not. Well, as of now the news is not good, AF is still missing and I'm trying not to stress myself out about it anymore then I did when I spoke with the nurse.

I am going to go with the RE's "plan of action" and go in on Tuesday morning to see what is going on down there. If all my blood work and ultrasounds show that I am "okay" to start my stims, then I will follow what my RE wants me to do and start my stims. We have done it this way before, so this is why we just decided to keep going, then to question things that we are familiar with.
